We stayed in port today at the Annapolis City Marina so we could walk around Annapolis some more and also Eastport - known here as the "Maritime Republic of Eastport". Richard made pancakes for breakfast this morning. So fluffy and good! We are using the pots and pans on the boat that Angie's Mom used for years. They still cook just as good!
We walked around town and along the marinas and had lunch at the Boatyard Bar and Grill. Fresh and delicious seafood. Our slip is across from the drawbridge that connects Eastport to Annapolis. It is also right next to the Annapolis Yacht Center Sailing Club (they give sailing lessons and were out in mass this morning).
Our day wouldn't be complete without boat maintenance. Richard found a problem with the bathroom in the forward berth and did a little light reading and almost got it working again. There's some part ordering in our future and Richard said he'd tackle it again when we come home.
This evening after dinner we walked into Annapolis again and got ice cream at Storm Bros. Ice Cream Factory. So yummy and apparently a local favorite. The line was out of the door and down the sidewalk. And... another beautiful sunset tonight.
